Our commitment
We design and build this site with accessibility in mind and work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time project.
Features currently in place
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer) and heading hierarchy on every route.
- Skip-to-content link on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links and buttons.
- Descriptive text alternatives on meaningful images and icon-only buttons.
- Sufficient colour contrast on primary text and interactive elements.
- Responsive layouts that reflow at 320 px without loss of content.
- Text captions, transcripts or descriptive summaries provided alongside video and audio where available.
- Forms with programmatic labels and clear error messages.
Known limits
Some third-party embeds (for example YouTube players, podcast widgets and social feeds) render controls we do not directly own, and their accessibility is set by the third party. We choose providers with accessibility support and, where possible, provide text alternatives or fallback links.
Report a barrier or request an alternative
If something on this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, or you would like content in an alternative format (large print, plain text, audio), please email hello@mariasainz.com with the page URL and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within five business days.
