We only collect information you choose to share or that our tools log automatically for security and analytics. Specifically:

• Information you provide. Your name, email address and any message you submit through a contact, invite, mentorship or newsletter form on this site.
• Account information. If you sign in to a members area, an authenticated account is created that stores your email and a hashed sign-in credential.
• Automatic technical data. Server logs (IP address, user agent, request path and timestamp) and cookies used by our analytics and advertising pixels — see the sections below.

• To reply to your enquiries and fulfil requests you send.
• To send you newsletters, mentorship updates or event information you have specifically opted in to receive.
• To operate, secure and improve the site — including diagnosing errors and understanding which pages are visited.
• To meet legal, accounting and safeguarding obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, on the performance of a contract for services you request (for example a mentorship intake), and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website.

We rely on the following service providers to run the site. They process personal data on our behalf under their own terms and security controls:

• Lovable Cloud (Supabase). Hosting, database, authentication and file storage for the site and any member area.
• Email delivery (Resend / equivalent). Sending transactional emails and any newsletter you have opted in to.
• Analytics & advertising pixels. Traffic analytics (for example Google Analytics 4) and social/ad platform pixels (for example Meta or TikTok) where we are running a campaign. These use cookies described in the next section.

We use essential cookies to keep the site working and, subject to your consent where required, analytics and advertising cookies to understand traffic and measure campaigns. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings; some site features may not function without them.

We retain enquiry messages and mentorship submissions for as long as needed to answer you and follow up on any resulting relationship, and then archive or delete them. Newsletter subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated on a short schedule by our hosting provider.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time.
• Object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.

MariaSainz.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when we do.
